The Alcaidesa golf course was designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark in 1992 . There are 18 holes, par 68 4924 metres.

It is one of the most picturesque golf courses along the Costa del Sol, with superb views of Gibraltar, the Mediterranean, and the Atlas mountains of Africa in the distance. The majority of the holes are alongside the beach although part of the course is situated higher up in the hills.

A new 18-hole course, named Alcaidesa Heathland, opened in the autumn of 2007. It was designed by David Thomas and features wide fairways with yet more outstanding views along the coastline. Many of the holes on this course incorporate water hazards.
