Son Muntaner Golf

Son Muntaner was opened in March 2000 and holds two important environment friendly certificates. It was designed by Kurt Rossknecht and is a great championship course surrounded by majestic native vegetation. It is probably Mallorca`s most exclusive course and the green fees reflect this fact. Son Mutaner is an extremely pretty golf course with wide fairways and 18 holes designed so players with a handicap of 36 can play next to golfers with handicaps in single figures. The course is designed to be in bloom all year round with a wide array of flowers so horticulturalists will be in their element.

Son Muntaner Golf Course is situated in a beautiful location between the Son Vida hills and Palma. Along with Son Vida it belongs to the Arabella resort.

This course provides a golfing test on every hole where positioning off the tee is important. There are large greens where the pin positions, when moved, change how the hole must be played.

The course`s fairways and greens are also protected by the bunkers and water hazards that make the accuracy of every shot important.

This is one of those courses where you easily remember the holes after just a single round and where you will need every club in your bag. It is not excessively long but certain holes suddenly appear to be very challenging, like the 5th, an uphill Par 3 stretching some 205 metres.

It s is a commercial golf course reserved exclusively for guests staying at the two hotels in the Son Vida Park, a lovely holiday village with two golf courses lying just 10 minutes away from Palma.
